At Trail Criú we have a simple and important goal: to continually provide our members, volunteers and all involved with a safe and respectful space to run and hike together and to connect and communicate in order to foster a supportive community for all.
To achieve our goal, we will conduct Trail Criú with the following Code of Ethics in mind:
Respect our members, volunteers and the wider community.
Ensure that our activities are welcoming for people from all backgrounds.
Continually take into consideration the suggestions and needs of the members.
Continually aim to meet the needs of all members and volunteers.
If we do these four things throughout Trail Criú, then we will achieve our ultimate goal, which is to increase the participation and inclusion of people from different backgrounds and situations, in trail running and hiking in Ireland and to foster community for people who have been marginalised by society.
